Class of 2030 High School Program Information

Hello, Class of 2030!

There are some exciting upcoming events to prepare you for high school.

The Splendora Early College High School (ECHS) application is now open to all 8th-grade students (Class of 2030). ECHS offers students the opportunity to enroll in advanced academic courses that earn both high school and college credit at the same time. Students in ECHS also have the opportunity to achieve core completion (42 college hours) or obtain an associate's degree from Lone Star College (60 college hours).

All 8th graders are eligible to apply. ECHS is free for all students. To enroll in ECHS, students must complete the online application using the link here.

January 8th & 9th
8th graders will be in planning discussions with various visitors from SHS during their career/health classes.


January 12th & 13th
SHS Counselors will present and distribute course selection materials to 8th-grade students during their career/health classes.

January 20th & 21st
8th graders will be visiting Splendora High School during their career/health classes to see a variety of high school opportunities

January 21st
Class of 2030 Parent Information and EXPO Night at Splendora High School from 5:30-7:00 pm. Please make plans to attend to learn more about your high school journey.
